ABOUT ME PERSONALLY:

I’m the third Fernando in my family, but “Fred” stuck early on as my go to name. I was born in Southern California and raised near Portland, Oregon - two places that shaped my appreciation for contrast, creativity and authenticity. I’ve lived abroad in Milan, Barcelona and Tokyo, experiences that continue to influence my design sensibility and global outlook. Today I’m based in Long Beach, California, where I live with my amazing flight attendant wife and our two equally well traveled SoCal kids.
